The truth is, if I need a calendar, it also means I’m not really in touch with the things I am doing.
If a project were the most important one of your job, the one whose success or failure would mean the difference between living true to your values or resigning in order to maintain your integrity, at what point would you simply give-up and resign? At what point would you ask someone else to do the same? At what point would you ask that of me?
Planning to take this workshop later this month… This will take place at the office of Voices of September 11th, 84 Albany Street, New Brunswick, NJ.
Saturday, June 23rd – 10:30am to 12:00pm
Gentle Clarity: A Buddhist Approach to Meditation
In this workshop we will learn a basic style of Buddhist meditation (no beliefs required!), consider how meditation can bring new perspective, and contemplate ways to bring greater wisdom, skill, and kindness into our lives. The session will include both initial meditation instruction and a brief introduction to practices that cultivate kindness and openness.
Beverly Sanford has been studying and practicing Buddhism for over a decade. She has been ordained to teach in the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism by Anam Thubten Rinpoche, and is associate teacher with the Princeton Buddhist Meditation Group.
Please be sure to visit the Voices of September 11th website for other events you might like. For example, I am currently in a diary-writing workshop which I am very much enjoying.
