A lesson I learned about focus…

Sometimes when you realize something about yourself, then it seems like the most obvious thing in the world. It can even be embarassing when you realize it based on something obvious that somebody who doesn’t even know you says, that becomes the magic link in your personal lesson.

That’s what happened this week, to me, and I’d like to share it.

The lesson was: Sometimes you think that you are having trouble focusing, but you are actually having trouble deciding.

Focus can be fine, but if you don’t – for one reason or another – decide about what to focus on, then it can seem like you simply aren’t on-target or able to concentrate.

But there’s a big difference between having no focus and having no decisiveness.
